LitVision's MISSION STATEMENT:

Literary Vision Magazine exists as a safe haven for good writing. The internet has
plenty of literary "ezines," but LitVision is hardcore into literature while ignoring the
"image" aspect that has invaded the ezine culture. We're not hip and we're not
punk rock. What we are is talented, hard-working and dedicated.

Our editors are writers first and foremost. We appreciate the creative process and
will never take your work for granted, even if we think it sucks. As readers,
LitVision staff have diverse tastes and voracious appetites for the written word
(among other things!)

As managing editor, i believe that the ART is a thousand times more important than
the artist. Yeah, writers tend to be cool, strange folk...but i don't give a damn about
that. I'll put the spotlight on your work, and leave you in the shadows where you
belong. Any writer who values his own ego over the quality of his work should
avoid LitVision like the plague.

At the same time, i'll never take a writer for granted. I  know how it feels to submit
your work to a publication & get an impersonal rejection slip, or worse, no reply at
all. The internet is supposed to be a fast and effective means of communication.
Therefore, i will do my best to respond to all submissions and inquiries in a timely
manner. Those who are chosen for publication will receive a token payment of
$0.00.  Gifts will be offered at random from LitVision's Prize Vault & Packrat
Repository.

I would like to see all kinds of people involved in the creation and appreciation of
my magazine. This is an open community, not a private literary club. If you can write,
SUBMIT. If you can read, visit my website often, and help spread the word!

Lastly, there will never be a theme or strict enforcement of categories in Literary
Vision Magazine. If you have something to say, say it, and our editors will figure it
out.

Sincerely,
Patrick Simonelli

A Little Bit About Us:

Patrick was born April 1980 in southern Connecticut. Has a degree in
newspaper journalism from Marquette University. Worked as news and
features reporter for an independent monthly newspaper in Milwaukee.
Employed for two years as staff writer and meeting planner for a lobbying
firm in Sacramento, Cali. Pat is a member of the Underground Literary Alliance.

Favorite writers: Stephen Crane, Truman Capote, Ryunosuke Akutagawa

Zeke was born in Durham, UK in 1984 and has since moved to the South where he is
currently studying for a degree in Creative Writing at Luton University. He is living
with his partner Nicola and currently working any job he can find in order to fund
his studies. Zeke runs the Unholy Biscuit e-zine and the hilarious but never
updated Titty Biscuits blog.

Favorite writers: Martina Cole, Douglas Coupland, Ben Elton.

Kelly was born on Boxing Day 1979 in Lincoln County Hospital. She found it
overwhelming and has remained in a state of near-catatonic submission ever since.
She is currently studying Creative Writing at Luton University, but doesn't speak to
Zeke as she feels he is beneath her. Kelly is editor of the MisAnon zine.

Favorite Writers: George Orwell, Will Self, Stephen Fry

egotistical people start websites. Fortunately, all of the

brilliant! Join our team and we'll post your photo as well.
This way if the whole writing thing doesn't work out, at least
the modeling talent scouts might take notice...
