Welcome to this month's Gallery! It's a mixed bag this time,
featuring 6 pieces by 3 different artists. We go with the flow here at Lit Vision,
which makes it exciting for everyone! I hope. Anyway, we all know writers are
strange, but the graphic artists who have sent stuff in to Lit Vision really blow
my mind. Sometimes they send in one random photo, which is nice, but i'm
left wondering what it all means, mannnn! Very challenging for a borderline
spasmadic like myself to experience these things, yet somehow i work
through it, and still get the Gallery up every month. It speaks volumes to my
greatness as an editor, that i am able to make something of the randomness
that these art-folk send my way. Damn their eyes! Actually, artists are cool
people too, they just need more medication than most writers, who are
beyond hope. Anyway. I'm tired of talking! Look to the info below each
artwork for a description of what it all means, with or without context. Enjoy...
The Moonlighter (portrait of Bruce Willis as David Addison from Moonlighting), by Sara Holt.
Art Editor's Note: WRONG! This is clearly a portrait of Charlie Manson.
Sara Holt is an artist living and working in
California. She studied art at Allan
Hancock College, but is mostly self-taught
and draws inspiration from everyday life.
She paints from and with emotion hoping
to evoke that same emotion from all who
view her work.

An eclectic artist, Sara is also a published
poet who’s had much success in the small
press. However, she finds painting the best
way to express her art and is focused on a
future filled with painting. Her work is
available for viewing at Streets 2k5
Festival of Street Art in New Brunswick, N.
J. for the month of April and April 30th &
May 1st during the festival, The New
Phoenix Theatre in Buffalo as part of their
Post 9/11 shows, and in the C.A.M.P.
Festival Late Spring show in N.Y. at The
Apocalypse Lounge. Her Art Blog is a
Featured Blog on Friendster.

She has 7 paintings appearing in the
May1st issue of prosaicMagazine,
Singapore.www.prosaicMagazine.com .
The cover includes 3 of her works. She’s
had 7 pieces of her work published in the
online gallery at Street To Studio: The Art
of Jean-Michel Basquiat website.

Just Passin' Thru (portrait of Michael Douglas from Adam at 6 a.m.), by Sara Holt
Certain Boyish Charm (portrait of Woody Allen)
by Sara Holt.
A Stranger in Winter ( nameless person.) by Sara Holt.
This is a photo of Bryan Dye and his gang. Bryan writes, "I am at this time finishing a book/booklet,
illustrated with photos, about my family of 5 dogs, 4 of which were rescued. The manuscript so far
includes both humorous anecdotes, and poignant even pathetic real stories of dogs, such as the
true story of "'Ol Shep", and the famous trial speech by Sen. George Graham Vest (1890).
I'm shopping publishers who fortunately have each seemed interested so far."
Email the man here, if only to tell him that cats make better pets than dogs.
Here's a soothing photo to enjoy as you exit our Gallery.
This one's called Hidden Flower by Robin M. Buehler of New Jersey.
Art Editor's Note: I nearly drowned in a pond like this one.
