Comrades:

The rumours you have heard are true: we of the Junta
have seized control of LitVision's so-called "June"
issue, and have exiled your Editor Pat.

This literary criminal is guilty of the following crimes:

*Failing to put up an Editor's Intro in the month of May.

*Failing to put up a poetry section in the month of May.

*Lighting the Editor's Intro aflame in the month of
April.

*Whistling on a Tuesday.

These are hideous and serious crimes. We of the Junta
sentenced him to exile for the month of June. Now, he is
released into your custody.

Here is our picture. Remember us well, for we shall
return to LitVision someday. That is all. You are
dismissed.

Love,
The Junta
            Editor's Intro

Dear Readers,

I'm so happy to be back, after a month of imposed
silence! While in exile the past month, some
terrible things happened. Julie Ann and i had a big
fight and broke up, then a couple days later i  lost
my day job. At one point i had no girlfriend, no job,
no phone, no mail delivery, no internet connection,
and no one i loved who wasn't mad at me (or
vice-versa) in the entire state of California. Now,
i'm a pretty tough and independent person, but
this was almost more than i could take! Quite
possibly the worst month of my life.

Fortunately, as i always do, i've turned the corner
and am back on track, with greater energy than
before! Most importantly, Julie Ann and i have
reunited, and are legally married according to a
COSTCO membership application. (Send cash in
lieu of gifts). I'm extremely thankful that this
wonderful, beautiful & caring woman is back in my
brooding, literary, creative, strange & temporarily
unemployed life.

I'm putting my free time into the upcoming
publication of the first book from LitVision
Press...Bukowski Never Did This: A Year in the Life
of An Underground Writer & His Family, by Jack
Saunders.

Ordering information will be shamelessly plastered
all over the LitVision website soon! The first copies
are expected to roll in mid-July, just in time for the
ULA Philadelphia Invasion, a literary reading &
show on July 16 that Jack and i will be attending.
LitVision Press will also enjoy its first foray into the
world of actual humanity on July 17, with a table
at the Philly Zine Fest!
Click here for full info on
these events in Philadelphia, PA, July 16-17. I'll
give a post-game report in my July Editor's Intro.

Until then, take a spin through the Junta's issue of
LitVision. For crazed fascists, they make pretty
good literary editors, but they haven't got my
moxy...whatever that is.

Best,
Pat Simonelli
